Hi, I'm Steve Lunden

I'm Steve Lunden, a senior, portrait, and wedding photographer based in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, proudly serving clients throughout Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the Twin Cities metro area since 2017.

Originally from Western Massachusetts, I brought my passion for storytelling and connection with people to Minnesota, where I've spent years helping individuals, couples, and families preserve some of life's most meaningful moments.

Before becoming a photographer, I spent nearly 25 years working in the hospitality industry. That experience taught me something I carry into every session and wedding I photograph: people always come first.

I know that being in front of a camera doesn't come naturally for most people. That's why my approach is built around creating a relaxed, comfortable experience where you can be yourself. The best photographs happen when you're not worried about posing perfectly, you're simply enjoying the moment.

For me, photography is about more than creating beautiful images. It's about preserving memories, celebrating milestones, and telling stories that deserve to be remembered. Whether I'm photographing a high school senior stepping into their next chapter, a couple celebrating their wedding day, or a family documenting a season of life, my goal is always the same: to create authentic, meaningful images that feel true to who you are.

I also believe that great photographs happen when people are genuinely enjoying themselves. Whether we're capturing senior portraits, family photos, or a wedding day, I encourage a relaxed and fun atmosphere where you can be yourself. When people feel comfortable, they stop worrying about the camera and start living in the moment, and that's where the most authentic images are made.

Great photography is important, but so is how you're treated throughout the experience. From your first inquiry to the delivery of your final images, my goal is to make the process easy, enjoyable, and stress-free. At the end of the day, there is no Steve Lunden Photography without the incredible people who trust me to document their lives, and that's something I never take for granted.
