Anoka, Minnesota · Class of 2027

Anoka Senior Photographer

Senior portraits that actually look like you. Real moments, real personality, shot in the places that mean something to you across Anoka and the Twin Cities metro.

I'm Steve Lunden, a senior portrait photographer based right next door in Coon Rapids, and I've been photographing Twin Cities seniors since 2017. If you're an Anoka High School Tornado heading into your senior year, this is the part of high school worth slowing down for, and your photos should feel like the real you, not a stiff studio backdrop.

Anoka gives us incredible places to shoot. We can wander the brick storefronts of historic downtown, catch golden hour along the Rum River where it meets the Mississippi, or head out to the open fields and tree lines at Bunker Hills. Whether your vibe is moody and cinematic or bright and fun, we'll build the session around you.

And yes, if you want to lean into Anoka being the self-proclaimed Halloween Capital of the World with a bold fall session, I'm absolutely here for it.

The experience

Comfortable, unrushed, and built so you forget the camera is even there. That's when the best photos happen.

A real conversation first

Before we shoot, we talk through your style, your locations, and what makes you you. You show up to a plan, not a guessing game.

Locations that fit you

Anoka senior portrait questions

When should I book my senior session?

Summer and early fall (July through October) are the most popular for Anoka seniors thanks to golden light and changing leaves, and those dates fill fast. I recommend booking the Class of 2027 several weeks to a few months ahead to lock your preferred date.

How many outfits and locations can I bring?

Most sessions include multiple outfit changes and one to two locations depending on your package. Bring layers and textures, denim, sweaters, a dressier look, plus anything that shows who you are.

Can I include my sport, hobby, instrument, or car?

Absolutely. Bring your hockey stick, instrument, letter jacket, pet, or your car. The props that matter to you make the strongest, most personal images.

Do you photograph seniors from schools besides Anoka High?

Yes. I work with seniors across the NW metro including Coon Rapids, Blaine, Andover, Rogers, and Maple Grove, and throughout the greater Twin Cities.

When will I get my photos?

You'll receive a hand-edited online gallery with a print release. Turnaround timing is covered in your booking details so you always know what to expect.

What does a session cost?
